I decided I’d make a simple flat-materialled mockup of the bowling alley from Wii Sports, by just making one lane and then using an array modifier to make the rest of the room. Then I made the mechanical arm thing, and that’s about it! I didn’t want to put too much time into the set dressing but I won’t lie that I got a little carried away.

Array is a great help. Looking good even in simple materials.
