Section 2 - Pivot Points - what's outside the saloon?

Hey team, after attempting the example in the lesson I had a go at creating something that would help me to reinforce the knowledge. Both the saloon doors are pivoted. I definitely need some more work on this technique before I move on.

Playful shadow light. I like it very much.
Maybe less shiny floor (less light reflection).

Thanks, totally agree with you, I was channeling the aesthetic of this reference picture I really liked but I don’t know how to control the reflectiveness of surfaces yet - very keen to learn though as I can see that adding a lot to the models. Really appreciate the feedback!

Brilliant work here @hopokassis
In order to make your floor less reflective, you want to decrease the specular level and increase the roughness level on your floor material. Hope that helps and keep up the great work!

Thanks for that pointer, I’ve updated the scene and it definitely looks better - will probably come back to the idea as I learn more too! The less reflective floor definitely helps with the dingy feel!

Great pivoting doors, and light effect from them.
