Hello there !
I’ve just finished the maya temple. I did it in 25-30 minutes after watching the section so i didn’t really improve the base model nor the lighting.
I also think that i might have a problem with topology on the top cube, the shadow is a bit weird in the angle. But maybe it’s just the light.

If flat faces are divided and some vertices not inline, then you could experience some ‘artifacts’.
Don’t worry too much about this.
There are many ways to fix this, just follow the course.

I’ve already done the donut and the well tutorials from youtube a while ago so i know a bit of Blender already. I’ve watched all the video first and then make this as fast as possible (should maybe have skip that part but was afraid of missing something).
