Section 1.15 - Camera Objectives

Here’s my Section 1.15 challenge scene. I modeled two camera objectives that I had sitting on my desk (to scale, I took measurements with calipers). Please note, while I might be new to Blender, I have some experience modelling in CAD software.

I had some small work in edit mode for some of the bevels and I used some modifiers to make cutouts etc. Other than that, the bodies consist of cylinders of various sizes.

The lighting is a basic 3-point setup, and I played around with the various material properties to get it to render like this. Rendering was done using Cycles.
