I actually just started by messing around by extruding faces on a sphere attached to the top of a cylinder.
Got a little carried away and made an (Maybe alien ) communication tower.
Thought that would go nicely with a jet
and ended up with a base.
The jet is a cheat because I extruded and manipulated the faces of a sphere for the shape, but needed to add the canopy as a second sphere to have a glass material on it. (Later found out there is a better way…looked ahead in the course)
Next time I will try to focus when the instructions are given (building, reference etc.) , but at least I had fun.
