So for some reason after marking seams on hands and trying to select parts of hands with “L” hotbar I receive a full hand instead of only the inner or outer parts. Still the unwrapping goes normal I guess. Should I try and figure out the reason or push further the course?

Can’t see if you have X-Ray mode on?
If not, just continue.
You can use ‘L’ on the uvmap islands to show them selected on the right panel, using
UV linked selection. Two errors top left.
