I’m trying to scale the edges towards the x-axis, but for some reason, it’s not working as it should base on the lecture, what am I doing wrong?

For the median point as a pivot point to work both sides’ edges like that must be selected. Because they scale towards the median point of what is selected. You may have, but that is the first and most obvious thing to mention.

Yeah, I’ve seen another thread that the problem was pivot point, but mine is already on the median point, so I don’t know what could be wrong

- Do you have double verts?
- What does it do when scaling z or y-ax.
It may be on the median point but have you selected the edges the opposite side to the ones we can see as well. Otherwise the median point is not between them at the centre of the cube.
