I’m going to have to go back and see what I did wrong (i took a few weeks off) but my sand isn’t looking the same.

The way the nomal maps are calculated in Blender 4.0 are slightly different to 3.5. You just need to reduce the strength a little, maybe add some displacement at a higher strength to give a less of a flat look to the geometry. But it looks nice so far!
I wound up with a similarly flat result, my mistake was using the texture coordinate node’s default “generated” output rather than the “object” output.
