My idea is to use a lamp with a clamp, as it looks on the desk it is sad to see an inanimate USB and hardrive. But gets excited when it sees the bug walking on the desk

It could be an interesting concept to animate. Though it would be hadrer to add movement constraints - there is no one by design. I don’t think it would be a big problem, but you will just need to pay more attention to lamp movements.
