I actually had to watch him do it first because I wasn’t sure what he mean’t, but now I’ve got it.
I misunderstood too. I thought he meant the base had to stay the same size and in Edit mode, scaled the top face ending up with a truncated inverted pyramid shape.
. Well I scaled a cube from its base without moving it !
