The lamp that i wanted to duplicate in blender:
After finishng the base, i decided to model the arms and what i call knees.
I added some screws and bolts and materialised the parts.
The arms are actualy tubes, i used bolean for that.
I rendered it with sampling on final, but i can not see any difference:

edit: Ah no problem, quick fix.
Just delete the object and start over with the curves.
2 minute job.
