Just saw this after your depth of field post. I like the table as well. Over-all it’s a cool artistic take on the chess set.

In render 5 the angle of the wood texture and the table stand materials replicate the the twist in the chess pieces. Nice. I think the brick and floor are competing with the table and chess set. Still the colors are nice and it does set a mood.
Thanks for the feedback. What would you replace the bricks and floor with?
