When I played around with creating a socket to attach a gun to the mesh in the UE5 course, I saw that there was already a socket with a preview gun attached done by the engine for me called GripPoint.
So I tried using this instead of creating a HandSocket and I tried to replicate the same result as what the course showed me to do (because I can follow instructions and understand/learn in this way while getting the desired result).
However no matter how hard I tried to understand what rotating the GripPoint did with the preview of the gun I could not for the life of me understand what was actually going on and it was very frustrating knowing the way I wanted to turn the gun and trying to think about what the axes meant but seeing something completely different to what I imagined would happen.
Is there any way I can find an explanation of how rotating things works with these 3 dimensions?
