I would like to get more knowledge on how to build niche games FTP/simulators like Mechwarrior Online, Hawken and Heavy Gear Assault. They do share a fair amount of mechanics with fps, but I am particularly interested in the unique mechanics such as movement, torso twist, weapons management and firing (individually, as groups), and customization.
It could be a mix course, with a game programming and design part and with some modeling part in blender to create the parts to build the mechs.
