Is not true. You are perfectly fine having only a RigidBody component but no colliders attached to a GameObject. The object will thus react to gravity, you can apply forces, velocity etc. but it won’t collide with anything. It is really upsetting when I am 100% sure about an answer and then it suddenly turns wrong. Try to make an object with a Rigidbody but without any colliders. No errors, object still falls under gravity, RigidBody physical calculations still apply.
