Rig not working

Hi, my rig isn’t working. I decided to skip the texture baking and painting because I couldn’t get the UV map to work well and Grant said that if it was just for 3D printing then it was OK to move to the rigging stage.

It is a pity, it didn’t work for you.
Ask questions.

We all know that sometimes it doesn’t work. Reason can be anything.
Try to learn the process. What does an option do and why do we need it?
Instead of copying exactly Grant’s version.
Because the scale of your object, can be different from Grant, and therefor you can not use exactly the parameters from Grant.

It’s also important to do all the challenges because what you have taught is always important in 3D design. Even if you don’t like the subject, learn the process.

This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left-hand side.
On that menu dropdown is ‘save screenshot’.
Also, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.

Yes is you are solely intent on 3d printing it is fine to ignore all baking, texturing, and UV mapping.
They are useful things to know but of no real use to 3d printing.
