I got sucked into that research bit. Kept seeing things that I got curious about. Like candlepins, duckpins, and fivepins. Imagine making a duckpin bowling game… hey, maybe I’ll try.
Wikipedia and google are a dangerous combination for the curious minded. Thanks for the challenge, Michael, it was cool. All that stuff about tenpin making and why they use a specific type of maple (a low mineral containing maple because it is more dense) that grows only in certain places. The manufacturing process itself was interesting. I also found a diagram showing the exact dimensions of a pin.
