Requesting suggestion for Animation and Game development learning path

Good day.
I am a software engineer. Last few years I was working with C# and .NET framework for developing business applications. But it seems I am no more enjoying this. So I want to involve with creativity. That’s the reason I want to learn Animation. I don’t have any basic knowledge about animation. So I searched online and I found so far it’s a huge process. I want to learn from beginning. Can you please suggest me some learning path those will help me to become an animator and game developer by learning “3D Modeling, Character Design, Animation and Game development”

As I am very new so I may have conceptual mistake on learning path. Will be highly appreciated if any of my mistakes are identified and fixes

Thanks in advance

@Marc_Carlyon, what would you recommend?

Thanks Nina,

I would firstly start off with our complete blender creator course as this will cover the basics of 3D modelling and some sculpting in case you want to do some more detailed characters.
Moving on from this course i would suggest focusing on the type of character you want to make as we have character courses in low poly characters and also in sculpting an orc, Both of these do basic rigging for animations.
Then i would suggest checking out our animation course which covers your eventual end goal.

All of these courses can be found under the courses menu at the top of this page.

Hope this helps

Thanks Marc and Nina for your kind reply on my threads
Marc can you please provide me some course links those you are suggested? That will be further helpful for me. For your kind consideration -
I have selected following courses-

Are they okay or I will need few other courses in my learning list? If yes then what they are? Can you please give me some link of them?

Thanks and best regards
Mojam

Hi Mojam,

Those are a great selection of courses and will give you a great insight into what you are aspiring to learn
The other courses that i would suggest that cover different aspects are listed below and although they cover a lot of the same aspects they are tailored to what you would like to make

For Low Poly and basic rigging

For Anime style characters

For more complex characters and rigging

Hope this helps and i wish you luck on your journey.
