Renders of Anrie, my beautiful baby dog

Hi! So i finally finished this part of course. Creating a dog was extremely hard, especially creating an existing one. Live reference can be a bad thing when you try to be realistic :upside_down_face:
I had a very bad time with multiple partical objects. I needed many color patches on my fur and they just looked ugly and very uneven. So i decided to use vertex paint and I made fur colors repeat colors of the skin. It now looks quite alright to me - all the dark, white and orange spots are where they should be.

Yes, organic modeling and using a real object is extremely difficult.
Practice is the key and start with simpler objects, like a teddy bear.
But, still, a very good result.

Fantastic result. Well done finding out about the taking the hair colour from the body.

Trouble with live models they do not stand still in the correct position!
