Rendered image is brighter than scene in blender

Hi,

I have finished creating my island and got the lighting how I wanted it and then when I rendered I noticed it was much brighter on the render than in the scene.

Why is this? Is it a limitation of the Eevee render engine?

Thanks

Looks like that you light from top right side isn’t renderd in scene view. but i can’t say why.

Is this your moon? Rendered with emission glow?

My moon is using the sun light.

Strangely when I closed and reopened blender no lights were visible except for the lighthouse until I went to the shading tab then back to layout. I rendered when the lights were not there and it was still the same as above.

Well in the scene view on your screenshot is no moon right? and you want your render exatly like your scene view?

so just Hide the moon in render view  the small camera button at the end.

i am sure that eevee isn’t at it’s limit in your scene.

Check for all lamps if the camera (render) icon is on!
This is also for the eye (view) icon.

It turns out there was the original default light that I’d hidden but not deleted. Thanks.
