Render times on iMac 27" with i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz & Radeon M390

GPU renders are quite slow on my rig and also slow down user interaction with Mac during rendering.
On the other side CPU rendering is, well…OK. Furthermore, I can read some article during the render or browsing some hardware e-shop and dreaming about kick-ass computer for my 3D career

One more thing. CUDA drivers won’t work on Mac with AMD/ATI Cards.

CUDA is on nVidia cards. AMD has something called openCL (at least it does on PC, not sure about Mac) it works just about the same, but it’s still experimental, so some features won’t work in the render. The only one I’ve run into was translucent shaders. They just show up as black spots.

Yes, OpenCL is available also on Mac, but is slower then CPU.
