Render problem with Cycles

Hello,
I’m having a problem when I chose Cycles as my render engine. As you can see in my image bellow, the wooden pole closer to the camera has 2 stripes of gray that shouldn’t exist (they don’t apperar on the render with Eevee). Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I’m running Blender 2.83.1 on Ubuntu 18.04, the Clycles options are all with the default values and I’m using only CPU.

Just checking: did you accidentally duplicate the pole and have two inside each other? The gray looks like the default material, so perhaps a second object is being rendered. It’s easy to hide an object in the viewport but have it still show up in the render.

If the problem persists, I would suggest:

  1. Deleting the pole. Render out the image and check that nothing is being rendered there.
  2. Duplicating the other pole and moving it into place. Render out the image and see if it produces the same issue.

It was an hidden pole inside the other.
Thank you Myn.
