A tip for better comparing renders: Use the slots.
You can hit 1-8 on the keyboard to select a slot. So you could render EVEE in slot 1 and CYCLES in slot 2. When hitting the number key you switch instantly and that is a very nice technique to compare. Using that you do not need to save the renders and load them again.
