Curious if anyone has experience with any render hosts for heavy lifting of cycles renders. I’ve done only a google search which has given me some interesting ones I may test but wanted to see if anyone here had experience or has a rec…
blendgrid.com - Seems “affordable” depending on how fast you want the render turned around. They will give you a quote from uploading a blend/zip file.
sheepit-renderfarm.com - Render using peers connected that are helping to render in return for a render of their own. You don’t have to participate in supplying build resources but donations are encouraged if you don’t. No idea how well this works or what the impact is on cycles render time.
render.st - Similar to blendgrid but instead of pay per build they have pay per hour and pay per month plans. You can control the number of servers running your render similar to blendgrid.
I also found this list https://rentrender.com/blender-render-farms/ but I’m not sure the quality of service of any of these. If anyone is familiar with these or another that would be much appreciated!
