On section 1 Lecture 10 there is a demonstration on how to rename a scene. The instructor renames a file called “Game” to “Main”. He right clicks on the scene and renames it. However I can’t do that while I am inside Unity 3D. I have to go outside Unity, then go to the folder where the file is saved and rename the file from there. A similar problem exists when I try to open that saved scene. When I open Unity I click on “Open” and the “Open existing project” window appears. Then I go to the “Assets” folder where the Scene is saved but the saved file is not shown. In order to open that file I have to go outside Unity and locate the folder where the file is saved and from there I open the saved Scene. Why I have that problem? I have to say that I’m using Unity version 5.3 but the course is done with an earlier version of Unity.
Hey don’t know if it is still an issue, but try to (double) click exactly on the scene name, in the assets area. You are probably clicking on the scene icon and not the name, that’s why is not working.
I am also using unity 5.3.
