Regarding Weapon Sockets

Is this they way you would typically attach a weapon for interchangeability?

I’m just curious, if this was the standard way to do weapons, why wouldn’t the skeleton already have a weapon socket, rather than a full gun already included?

I accept that there’s more than one way to do things in general when developing, did the Wraith game just have everything handled with animations? so they didn’t need to hook weapons up in this way?

Any insight would be great.

That depends on who made the model and for what purpose. I never played Paragon but I would assume there it was always holding a gun (as in in game state not version of the model) and had no ability to pick up/swap gun.

That would make sense! Cheers Dan!
