I really enjoyed this challenge and it also added to my original model. The first image has some adjusted lighting but looking back I would have duplicated the light on the interior of the cube and moved it to the right side of the gate. Let me know what you think!

To be completely honest the background was procedurally generated with a shader that I based from a youtube video. I put the link below if you’d like to check it out. He does a really good job at explaining the process while giving valuable suggestions to get different results depending on the type of atmosphere you’re going for. Hope you find it as helpful as I did and thank you again!
