It’s actually really simple to make your own minecraft server! Follow the steps on this website:- https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/server
Just keep in mind you may have to disable some firewalls on your device and setup a VPN your friends can join to!
You can also set up port forwarding on your router to avoid the hassle(but internet providers in my country are lame so they dont allow that).
Or just cut to the point and make a server on Aternos. Easy to handle for you as well as your friends through a common email
