Quiz 47, Question 3: Why does an Emission Rate of 100 mean roughly 100 particles are emitted every second?

Hello, everybody!
I’ve got one little question that was bothering me whole day:
Quiz 47, Question 3: An Emission Rate of 100 means… Correct Answer: Roughly 100 particles are emitted every second.

I didn’t get why? I mean why not exactly 100? Because of Max Particles limitation?

It’s random, the rate is such that 100 on average are emitted every second, but there might be 99 some, and 101 others.

Ok, Thanks. But weird, because… I was kinda testing it and it seemed working so accurately… Guess my eyes are not sensitive enough to catch such things)
