I tried to stick close to Grant for the modeling. I used a color palette to assist with items fitting into the same world, which was a first for me. Dino looked like a sheet metal project, so I smoothed it out, which made it look photo-shoped into the world. Looking for feedback on how to make skin type things.

But there is much more to explain how to create skin-type materials.

It’s a combination of many properties of a material. For example subsurface or bump maps. Just follow the course you will get there.
