Quick dirty bump map (Gun Cabinet)

well, I’m probably never going to use this armory. But a quick diamond shape makes the dull armory cabinets look slightly better.

certainly beats modeling anything even if its dirty looking :slight_smile:

oh yeah theres this quickly modeled door now too:


I didn’t add a bump map for the door; since I didn’t think of it til just now.

Actually, Instead of making one, I will just tell it to be the bump map instead heh.


Not a huge difference but the door isnt high priority anyway atm

telling it to be the color map makes a big differnce:

But i had to check off Negative and RGB to intensity then choose a dark green color.

But i think i like the first version better, cuz this the map wasn’t planned seriously and shouldnt look so much so haha.

Actually offsetting it by 1/4th is all thats needed:

An armory where the shelves are built into the walls would have made this relevant for my game:

But good enough for now I suppose


Different lighting setup likely needed in cycles aswell…

hmm some of the textures are sideways I just noticed. I wonder why there isnt a way to make faces share the same UV map…

would save a TON of time.

(for some reason when I unwrap them it comes out as lego blocks every time)
