Not really a question about the lecture but this is my first programming language and i know i should probably start off with something easier but c++ and unreal engine is my main focus but is it bad that i have trouble on a lot of the challenges. I tend to struggle with it trying to figure some of them out for 10 - 20 mins then just give up and watch his explanation.

I think one doesn’t have to learn an easier language before learning C++ as all languages at the end of the day share common programming concepts. Of course every person is different. This is my personal opinion.
If you are willing I’d suggest you (and generally everyone who starts learning programming/C++) to accompany your course with a good C++ book.
