[Question] Using Tags instead?

I had a question regarding this lecture’s challenge.
I used a different approach to what sir Ben used here, instead of getting the Script components of all the objects which the attackers collide with, I just checked the identity of the defender by just using tags, for example, i used the tag “GraveStone” for all gravestones, and defenders for all other defenders, and so on.

is there any reason I should not proceed with this approach further? I find this much easier…

Edit: I wrote Triggers instead of Tags on the subject by mistake, changed it to correct one.

If it works and is easier, that’s great!

something to do with resources, I believe. he said “it checks at compile time,” which is better. but I’m not sure what that means.
