Is it possible to complete the drawing course with Gimp or do I have to use Krita?

Krita is just the medium that Grant chose to use in the course.
Personally i used pencil and paper to follow the course as the skills are the same.
You could use GIMP but bear in mind that support may be limited as GIMP has updated since the last time i used it so you may have to search for issues with GIMP if you come accross them.
