What do u mean by quads I do not know what this word means ?

A quad in 3D work means a face made up from only 4 (hence Quad) vertices.
A Tri, or triangle is a face made up from only 3 vertices.
An n-gon is all faces made up of more than 4 vertices. It comes from a polygon (hence gon) and where ‘n’ stands in for any number over 4.

It’s nice to have quad faces because it’s easy to make loop cuts and subdivisions.
