Pyramid Ramp

I did a different approach from what Mike did in the video. This is the result.

Basically I just selected all faces from both sides of the pyramid and deleted them except for the bottom one. I proceeded then to delete the top edge of the bottom face and that left only a bottom edge. I then filled the side edges and closed the pyramid mesh. Afterwards I just selected the top edge of the “staircase/ramp” and the bottom edge that was left and fill them. That created my ramp.

This is not exactly what Mike’s pyramid look like, but that was the challenge, wasn’t it?

UPDATE: When I advanced to the next lecture about the rails, the edge loop didn’t work because of the way I did it. So I went back and did it the way Mike said.

I’m really liking what you did with the top of the Pyramid. :slightly_smiling_face:

Your slope is not correct!
The stair/slope sides are triangles in the correct solution.
Your shape is more saw tooth.

If you have the time, can you give your vote for the Blender week 40 collab on Architecture, Thanks.
