Put in faces backwards from extending vertices

I don’t know if it is possible, but I think I put them in backwards?

When he said to try and extend on your own, I did an extrude on a point and then mapped it across the back. However, I think I might have somehow turned the vertices around?

Without having to delete everything again, what would you do to fix it?

General Q&A note

Help us all to help you.
Please give full screenshots with any questions. With the relevant panels open.
This can be done by Blender itself, via the ‘Window’ menu bar top left-hand side.
On that menu dropdown is ‘save screenshot’.
Also, include the lecture time and name/number that is relevant to the problem/issue.

  • Check your normals
  • If you are using the solidify modifier, there is a inside / outside option.

I don’t know if this view helps too?

They are just backwards?
I tried a couple times, but the screen from blender isn’t working.

It had a space in the filename and it didn’t

like that.

There are some obviously unconnected verts at the top back of the head. That will need fixing.
Select pairs and M at centre.

Next go to the overlays dropdown, and tick the face orientation box. Blue is the right way round normals red is backwards.

Any red, Select all with A, then Shift N. Should set all outwards, blue.

The Shift N worked. I couldn’t get the blue and red to work. Might be because the mouth is open? IDK. Anyways, I’m back at it. Thanks.
