Projectile not moving when root is set to StaticMeshComponent

Hey there,

When i set a StaticMeshComponent as root of the Projectile_BP, the projectile isn’t moving anymore. If the root Component is the default scene root everything works fine. Im using Unreal 4.14.3.

Hopefully u have a solution for that problem…

Ok i solved it :). After going through the next sections, i found out that there was the “spawn socket” of the projectile to close to the barrel. So immediatly after spawning a projectile, a collission event happened and the projectile stopped moving.
