Project "Cosmere" GDD

I will be aiming for a loot focused dungeon crawler similar to Diabolo or Borderlands with a strong storyline and inventive magic system inspired by the style of Brandon Sanderson’s epic fantasy novels. I would also like the combat to require the player to use strategy over speed/ button mashing. To this end, I would like to provide the player with abilities that synergize well together and combo to keep the player engaged. I would like the player to need to implement a variety of different abilities and gear depending on the encounter they are facing.
