Hello, I’m having problems with the light emitters, there are dots on the surfaces, I need more than 30000 samples and the dots are less intense but still here.
In this image I did 20, but 30000 for one image take 86 hours.
What am I doing wrong?
Here are some suggestions I found in an article on Blender Guru. https://www.blenderguru.com/articles/7-ways-get-rid-fireflies/
Also, something found while researching the same issue I have been using and at least works for me and my Mac with Blender 2.78 is under Sampling, change Clamp Direct to 4:00 and Clamp Indirect to 1.00. I am new to all these settings myself so this method may not be the correct or best one to use.
I have tried all, and the most effective is making bigger light source, but I cnan’t do this because I’m animating the fire of the candle, the other solutions works well but still some fireflies around.
Thank you for the answer!
maybe using all together and around 1000 samples, I will try it.
i think that’s the best thing to do.
Example (with only 500 samples)
Without clamping indirect :
