Just some thoughts.
On your YouTube channel you show that you did a cover system but, it isn’t in the series. I got it working for both full height and half height cover but it would be interesting to see your solution:
More environment interactions. These should be simple and you already mention a few places to look but, it would be nice to see them added here. Ladders, Vaulting over low walls, crawling under objects, animating in and out of cover, shooting from cover etc…
Scripted sequences. The clean code base should make this pretty simple but, if you were to do this in depth using Editor tooling it would be pretty cool.
Another thought: Most. Grid Based TBS games show an arrow along the ground indicating the path a unit is taking. I was thinking this could be done to the GridVisual using some kind of tile rules system like when auto tiling in a 2d tiled map…
