You guys are literally the best about updating courses, but the update patched into this video just didn’t cover it. I still had the glitch with all three solutions( i didn’t have multiple terrains or any issues i could find with the nav mesh itself, though i wonder if the transform of the spawn points Y needs to be super precise).
As of right now I’m probably just going to move on. more likely than not, i would just tweak Stephen’s portal system from the 2dARPG combat course and use it instead. I don’t need returning portals for my project anyway, so it isn’t critical to me.
