I need an option to set default video resolution because everytime I set it to 1080 it revert back to auto 720 so I hope you can make this option.
The player is provided by a third party too so options may be limited. Auto selects the best setting for your internet connection so perhaps this could be a factor.
EDIT: I checked the video and it appears to be fine for me, selecting 1080p video as default for me.
Is it all videos or any specific video causing this issue.?

Ok, I went through a number of videos on this course and others as well and didn’t encounter any issues. I do have a Gigabit Fibre connection so generally this isn’t an issue.
Have you tried a different browser? I was using Edge when testing but I get the same experience when I use Opera and also Firefox.
Yes tried different browser. I have vdsl so it seems it fallback to 720p automatically but I hope if there is a way to set an option to make it fixed at 1080p
I checked with my colleagues and they suggest that it is usually the connection to the server that causes this issue. Not broadband/internet as such but the route between yourself and the servers the videos are hosted.
They suggested trying to clear your browser cache. Alternatively try restarting your internet router.
What you could try is use Opera in VPN mode - it has a built-in VPN. It is a bit hit and miss but worth trying. The browser is small enough to download as well.

I have Opera but its VPN does not work in my location. Other VPNs are very slow also.
That was my experience too that it does slow things down but often it can help.
