Pins moving to same spot Once animation starts

I followed the video and after i duplicated the other 9 pins and i started the animation, all 9 pins would move to or try to move to the same location as the first pin, i have figured a way around this by editing all of them individually but i was wonder why they were moving to the same spot.

Hi, it’s more a subject for the ASK section, instead of the TALK section.

If you duplicate pins, it copies the behavior of the original pin.

Of cause, every student is anxious to see the magic work.
But in Blender terms, you need to do things in the correct order.
Otherwise, you get into trouble.

  • Be sure to have all animation keys removed, or have a clear animation sheet.
  • Set up all the objects in their initial state.
  • Place the ball
  • Only the pins do need the physics option passive. as the floor. They don’t need to be animated, that’s what Blender physics will do for you. only the has an active state.
