Continuing on… 
The pillars were fun but because of the clipping I couldn’t make the insets connect. For some reason I feel like there’s a keyboard shortcut to prevent that…? I tried all of the ones I could think of and decided to just keep going. I think also I needed to apply my scaling if I wanted the faces to inset properly. Maybe that’s all it was.
Ah well, onward!
