Physics Engine Randomization?

I noticed every time the tank spawns (from a good height above ground), both it and the tank I placed next to it clap or bounce in some way against the terrain, however, every time i hit play, the intensity of this bounce is not only angled differently every time but its intensity is highly varied; sometimes it doesnt move at all and just clamps to the ground; and sometimes it bounces; sometimes even toppling over.

Anybody know why this randomization happens, and if there are any settings for it or how to prevent it? Just a curious twerk as i noticed also that when increasing mass of static meshes they still fall as though they are light as feathers, but when it comes to pawns they come closer to the speed of gravity when falling.
