Periscope Challenge!


I struggled with this one. At first, I tried to select the vertices in solid view, but I just couldn’t get them, or the edges. I succeeded by selecting them in wire view.

Turns out the fastest way through is to select the whole geometry with an appropriately small merge distance to remove doubles.

Curious as to how people solved this. I did it way different than Mike did. I stacked three blocks on top of one another first using manual coordinate input, and then sliced two of them into wedges. I then joined the entire shape and manually moved it in ortho mode until the bottom edge was on (0,0,0). How did you all do it?
