Panning, zooming, and rotating

The video titled “Controlling the 3D Editor” taught me how to pan, zoom, and rotate. There is a trick to it if you are using a Macbook. In order to do you on my Macbook, I had to connect the mouse to my Macbook. Next I have to go to File -> User Preferences -> Input and select “Emulate a 3 button mouse”. If I don’t turn this option, the mouse simply does not work to pan, zoom, or rotate. Once the Emulate option is turned on, you can also use the two fingers in the trackpad to zoom, pan, and rotate with the combination of alt, shift, and control.
