Outputoptions -No Checkbox for "Placeholders" in Blender 2.9

Hi, I did not find a button or similar function / checkbox for the show output option “Placeholders” in Blender 2.9. Did anyone find these option in 2.9?

It it that thing in Output Properties tab, Output dropdown, at the bottom of that dropdown panel.

Yeah, but I don’t have the checkbox for “Placeholders” here in Blender 2.9.

I do! lol

I am using 2.91. Sounds like a 2.92 change?

May be a while before anyone finds it. Not sure if anyone ever uses it. It may have been renamed, and moved. :rage:

Thats weird… I am using 2.91.0 also, lol… I did not changed any settings, except the shown ones.

Exact same version I am using.

AHH! got it! :bulb:

You have FFmpeg selected I had png.
Changing to that disappears the placeholder’s tick box.

Now I think placeholders are to do with individual frame renders, the safe way to render animations. But have no use or place for rendering out a whole animation in a video format.
