Hi,
I tried to follow the same steps of adding new font to add an Arabic font that I downloaded from Google Fonts. But that didn’t work and TextMeshPro didn’t display the characters. Any idea on how to add support for the Arabic language. I know it is not part of this exercise, but it is something I know I will need for my game and I am taking this course to be able to do this game properly.

Unfortunately, I do not know Arabic, so I cannot help you with this because I would not even know if something is correct or wrong. However, I found this potential solution in the official Unity forum. And this video on Youtube.
